FAQs
What is a Professional Organizer?
A Professional Organizer provides information, products and assistance to help you get organized. We work with you to develop an organizing system specific to your individual needs. An organizer helps keep you motivated to finish your organizing project, keeps you focused, offers suggestions and resources, and helps you accomplish your organizing goals.
How will Getting Organized help me?
Getting organized will help you to be more efficient and more productive. You will be able to spend your time doing things you enjoy rather than looking for things you cannot find. Being organized helps to reduce stress and allows you to be more effective in your responsibilities at home and at work.
How long will it take to get organized?
The length of time to complete an organizing project is dependent on many variables. Some of these variables include: size of project, space involved, amount of “stuff” to be handled, physical energy available by the client and the amount of time it takes the client to make decisions.
Will I be able to keep my space organized after the initial project is complete?
The system we implement will be customized to your needs so you will be able to maintain the space and stay organized once the initial project is complete. The new habits you develop will insure that you will be able to keep the system working. Life is constantly changing and periodic maintenance checkups may be desired to reinforce or adjust the system along the way.
Where do I start?
Sometimes people know exactly what is causing them the most aggravation. Project Partners provides hands-on organizing to get the priority area organized first, then move through the areas of precedence until we accomplish your organizing goals.
If you don’t know where to begin, like many people, we will do a detailed needs assessment. The needs assessment includes the development of a complete plan of action. You can choose to follow the plan on your own or you can hire Project Partners to work through the plan along with you, keeping you motivated and making suggestions along the way.
The word “clutter” derives from the Middle English word “clotter,” which means coagulate. Think stagnant, accumulated… stuck! When clutter invades our homes and offices, it can make us disorganized. We lose things, forget to pay bills, procrastinate, and waste time.…
